The Gaming Den

So some of my friends and I are starting to get a band together and we haven't decided on a name yet, and I was wondering what you guys thought. I'll give you a quick rundown of what we have and what we're looking to do.

There are three of us so far, all guys in our early twenties. We all sing, rather well too if I say so myself, Steven, a tenor, has a very clear strong voice with excellent control. Justin, also a tenor, has a very unique singing voice that I cannot adequately describe, a tremendous amount of raw power and force, and can consistently hit notes I could never dream of. As for me, a baritone, I normally have a good amount power behind my voice, but can greatly exceed my normal limits within a certain style and range. My greatest talent is that I am able to fairly mimic any singing voice within my range, aside from Dave Mathews, after I have had a few days to practice with it. I have a very clear clean falsetto that can reach very high notes, and I am fully capable when it comes heavy metal style harsh male vocals and death screams.

Steven plays the organ, the theremin, and the accordion. Justin plays the piano, and, preferably, the keyboard, he's also learning to play the bass guitar. I'm currently learning to play the violin, and plan to learn the uilleann pipes.

We plan to find a guitarist and a drummer, or possibly use a synthesizer if we can't find anyone.

The direction we plan to take the band musically is a bit complicated. We plan on incorporating a lot of sounds from the early to mid 1900s, as well as Scandinavian Alt-Metal, some folk, heavy metal in the same general vain as Dog Fashion Disco, and a few other musical styles.

So far the favorites for a name are Laminate Life/Laminate Lives and Cellophane(possibly something preceding or following cellophane).

Long ago when I was playing an online band simulator, I named my band Three Random Words. That way, whenever I came across three random words I thought would make a cool band name, like Roppongi Banana Boyz or Big Rhino Noise, I instead turned it into a song title, and it was like a theme. Plus I had no remorse for not having chosen those other three words instead.
